Now Microsoft has stopped supporting Windows 98, What do I do if I have a problem?

Well you could always ask us at Free IT Helpdesk as we still answer your problems and issues regarding Microsoft Windows 98

Microsoft has finally stopped supporting Windows 98 even though there are still an estimated 70 million users of the Operating System. They initially wanted to get rid of it a few years ago but had to give in after a huge uproar from users. Now they have decided enough is enough with their new Operating System, Windows Vista, being launched very soon around the World.

Microsoft have called an end to Windows 98

Microsoft is still keeping documentation on their website until at least July 2007 to help you with any problems you may be so you can use their huge database of common faults and their solutions. Alternatively you could buy a copy of Microsoft Windows XP as this will remain to be supported for a number of years by Microsoft. One problem you may have with this however is your PC or Laptop. If your computer is below the recommended specification of Windows XP you may have to purchase a new system completely, which is not ideal for many people.

There are many ways you can continue to support Windows 98 using other sources such as your local computer repair shop or by searching the internet for the right solution for you.

If you do have a problem please feel free to log the problem with our Helpdesk and we will get in touch with you as soon as we can.
